really struggling to get somewhere, there are two techniques I will employ to get someplace right now.
The first I will call the veil technique. I picture what I want before me. As I do this I do not know what it is. Therefore, there is a veil over the thing I wish to see. From this perspective, that what I want already exists. It is just covered. As I do this I strain to lift the veil and see what is under it. I also try to imagine what it is that is under the veil. If this is successful, at some point I will go, "A-HA, I know what it is." Whatever it is becomes clear and I move forward.
The other technique is one that I use to remove barriers to my progress. I consider a barrier something that is in my path as I travel toward a goal. This thing is in front of me and I cannot pass. This technique serves to get me on the other side of the barrier. First I look carefully and describe to myself exactly what the

barrier is. Then I imagine myself having completed the project. That is, I imagine myself at the end of the path. Then, I imagine myself working backwards up the path. I continue this until I run up against the barrier I am troubled with in the first place. Now, however, I am on the other side of the barrier. In my mind, I turn and look to see how the other side appears. For some reason, this gives me a different perspective of what the barrier is. Then, what I must do becomes clear. Then I continue moving forward.
A Guideline What follows next are some steps that should be done to become creative or execute a creative process.
First, understand what is already there. If you wish to be creative in magic, you best have read the entire Tarbell Course and Bobo's Modern Coin Magic. Somehow, gather a volume of knowledge about that which you wish to work with.
