one named before the cards were spread. The truth is there staring you in the face. One card is named and one card is reversed. It is a very believable impossibility.
Level of Magical Illusion The Level of Impossibility addresses the logic of what is going on. It requires the consciousness of the observer to realize that what has transpired is impossible. Here, we wish to discuss that magic can appear to happen before the eyes of the spectator when little conscious thought is needed. An example is objects that float in the air without apparent support. Even if the audience believes the object is supported by threads, the audience can still feel the awe of such a thing happening.
A goal of this section is to show a difference between impossibility and what I will call here, real time magical illusion. A

marked coin disappearing and appearing in a nest of boxes generates awe in a logical sense. It seems impossible. A floating object, however, generates awe for it seems magical even if the audience can discern some not seen support. However, it appears magical "right now" or in real time. Let's look at a couple examples of where such similar effects are accomplished outside of the realm of magic.
The first consists of some jugglers I observed on TV. It was a troupe of jugglers. Maybe there were five. At some point two separated from the group and started tossing clubs between themselves. They were tossing a number of them to each other. During the action the clubs would spin through the air in an arc from one person to the other. Because the clubs moved so fast and so repetitive the clubs seemed to form a solid bridge between the two performers. The bridge seemed to be formed of clubs that spun in one place to
