Classified Ads (Large Ads)
Advertising Philosophy
A primary goal of this magazine is to present material that is so interesting
that many readers will constantly come here every month to see what is
new and enjoy the articles. A secondary goal is to provide other magic
businesses a place to successfully advertise and sell their goods. In
the beginning, of course, there will be no advertisers. If the ads available
in the magazine fill up, the publisher will focus on presenting interesting
material to attract readers and less on selling merchandise. The focus
will become building business for the advertisers.
An important factor is the time your ad will be available for viewing.
Once an ad
is placed it remains with that issue in the past issue folder. There are
no plans to clear past issue folders. This means that an ad once purchased
will remain viable until the demise of this web site. For example, suppose
a new reader starts viewing this magazine in the 10th issue. He finds
a great card trick in the Card Tricks column. He goes to past issues and
finds that column was started in the 4th issue. He is happy to find that
he now has 6 new tricks to read about. The ads that appeared in each column
when they were the present issue of the day, are still there.
So, the new reader will not only get the old stuff, he will also see those
ads.
Ad Organization
The organization of ads in the pages is presently as follows:

Ordering
A page map of the next issue is displayed using the Ad Map link below.
Click on the spot you wish to place an ad. This will take you to Paypal
where you can pay for the ad. When the World Magic Center gets the information
from Paypal, that spot is reserved for you.
If you do
not want to use the automatic ad placement procedure, you can request
the webmaster to build an ad for you for a $30 charge. When you order
this, the webmaster will contact you via email, get the information you
want in the ad and build it for you. The ad will consist of an image displayed
in a location you desire (if not taken). Such ads will normally contain
information on what you wish to say and a phone number or email to contact
the ad holder.
Submitting Your Ad
Purchasing an ad is automated. When you click on an ad in the Ad Map you
are taken to a page where you can enter a URL to your web site and a URL
that displays an ad you have created and resides on your server. A page
is displayed to verify your links work. When you accept your input, you
are sent to Paypal to pay for the ad. When that is completed, the ad is
automatically installed. The process can take less than 2 minutes.
Small ads must be formatted 275 wide X 175 hi pixels. (.jpeg prefered)
Classified
